Jerry Jones is a well educated black man. Not only educated from higher learning, but also from the streets. Never being a man that follows Jerry has been a leader in the game of life. As a young man he enrolled into the Army and made a great life for himself but returned home to become once again a street dealer. As time went on Jerry let go of the streets and obtained a MBA. While in college he sees life once again at another viewpoint and decides never to sell drugs again. So he moves from his home town Savannah, GA to somewhere he is unknown. At this point he meets Karen. She is a young black female that is well groomed and educated. Her family pedigree goes back to the time of civil rights movements and power to the people fights. She helps Jerry understand in more depth then ever that life and love goes hand in hand. But the question is - is love enough to keep their bond strong and their relationship together. Jerry's past is now haunting and knocking at their doors, the front and the back. This past comes in a tall dark figure. This past comes with trouble, mystery, struggle and challenges. For the couple to defeat this obstacle, they will have to test themselves and their passion for life together. The Big Black Shark is the name they know. He is the face they show no fear towards. And he is the one that will test their love and devotion. One of Karen's best friends Ann is an executive in Japan. She is another key person. Being the life of the party and married to a white man, Ann brings issues to a heated conversation and some bad taste is left in others minds and mouths. As for Jerry he has his brother David and others. Their evening is the learning of life now and the future. But Jerry being an Alpha Male holds true to his place as a leader, and in life, takes the others to levels that they would never have thought of.
